Healthy Christmas Tips (PART 2)

Christmas can be a time when we forget to look after ourselves in many ways. It can be stressful and exhausting. Here are a few tips to help you survive the silly season.

  1. Laugh out loud, when was the last time you watched a really good comedy?? I really love ‘ Christmas with the Kranks’ with Tim Allen and Jamie Lee Curtis
  2. Find some nature to re-energize, it is not all about socializing you know
  3. Give a gift to someone less fortunate than you and remember how lucky we are to live in this beautiful country
  4. Take a moment to be grateful for all that you have. Research shows ‘grateful people’ (those that perceive gratitude as a permanent state) take better care of themselves physically and mentally.
  5. Don’t over spend and blow out the credit card. Financial strain after Christmas is not an ideal way to start the New Year, so take care of your budget.
  6. Gift yourself. You deserve it, you have worked hard all year so find something nice to honor yourself with and ENJOY
